How to use the college savings calculator

Think about what kind of college education you want to fund. (1) Public In-state (2) Public Out of State or private. Or you can enter your own custom value.
Enter the percentage of your child’s college education that you plan to fund.
You can edit the assumptions for (1) college fees growth rate and (2) rate of return on college savings funds.
Results: You will see the (1) total monthly savings you need to contribute, and (2) additional monthly savings needed above your current contributions.
